Junk Yard Car Show
Junk Yard Car Show. This is a new featured show that I will be putting on my Youtube Channel in which I will be touring various junk yards and picking out classic cars and muscle cars that catch my eye and bring them to life on video. I’ve always enjoyed going to the junk yard to get a cheap part for my 1967 Camaro or any project that I’m working on and one thing I noticed is that I’m always drawn into looking at the old rusted out and junked cars from the good old days of the 1960’s and 1970’s. It is neat to see the cars and any kind of custom modification that was done back in the 1980’s or 1990’s when people got bored with the cars or wanted to change the looks. Some things are laughable and make you want to shake your head at it, but still Junk Yards are kind of a cheap museum of history on old cars. It is so neat to see a car when it is all tore apart and try to figure out what it is. I consider myself pretty good at spotting cars but in this video the station wagon I was video taping I first thought it might be a 1970 Chevelle Wagon when I saw the 4 head lights in the front. But I quickly knew it wasn’t when I saw the rear sun roof on the car, only one wagon had that ever (that I know of) and that is the Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser. Great car in my opinion, I’ll bet a lot of kids had fun in that back in the day. I’m assuming also the movie Vacation with Chevy Chase got the idea of the “Family Truckster” from that model car.
Here is a quick overview of the kind of cars you will see in this episode of Junk Yard Car Show. There will be more episodes in the future!
